If the screw doesn't snug down at some point, it's broken and the module needs to be replaced. Is it possible you tightened it too much and it snapped? Changing string gauges could definitely make a difference. Try going back to 10's and see if that fixes the issue. It only costs $5 and 15...

Sounds to me like you don't need new modules. Evertune makes a new, larger "comb" that holds the modules together and eliminates that buzz. Also, is it possible you are using a different gauge string for the high E? Or even a different brand string? That might affect the tension enough to cause...
