Isn’t Ghost just one guy and a team of hired guns?
I mean, I guess so, but I'd like to think the other folks are a bit invested Same could be argued for any band with a strong front man

I just figured we were looking for songs with more than a vocal/guitar/bass/drum setup

Which song?
Never Tear Us Apart. The people in this group are from by boygenius ensemble at the music school. The members are almost all women in their 20s to 40s. Although posting "Return Of The Giant Hogweed" was really, really tempting, I decided against it.

There are so many, but here's a few faves (that I hadn't seen mentioned thus far):
  • The Band
  • Tedeschi Trucks Band - 12 members
  • The Avett Brothers
  • Dave Matthews Band
  • Bob Marley & the Wailers
  • Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals
  • Widespread Panic
  • Any Zappa band
  • The Hip
  • TP & the Heartbreakers
  • Punch Brothers
  • Most Prince Bands
  • Of Monsters & Men
  • Bruce & the E St Band

I think UB40 had about 15 members until they all decided they hated each other. Im guessing too much red red wine.

Thank you London! Goodnight.

It might be worth pointing out that many band that are officially say 4 members, may have 1 or 2 more when they actually play live.

I know Queen used to do this with Spike Edney and it's not uncommon.

I missed the opportunity to give them Brown Shoes Don't Make It, Bamboozled By Love, or Pick Me I'm Clean by Zappa.
