Take That in Glasgow Mrs JBJs choice and Im dreading the amount of drunk aunts that will be in attendance.

The Cure in Edinburgh

Think that's it for confirmed tickets.

Bon Jovi have just announced Edinburgh. I'm not really interested but had some great drunk gigging days out with my brother and friends back in the day and they're keenso might go for old times sake.

Hoping the gaslight anthem make it over here, I think they're on a pretty big US tour just now.

Also rumours oasis are going to do a knebworth run. Be even worse than last tour to get tickets but I'll definitely be trying.

Confirmed:

RUSH in Montreal
Weird Al and Puddles in Niagara Falls

It’s a magic/variety show, so there will likely be music, but: Piff The Magic Dragon’s All Star Vegas.

Gov't Mule is coming back to Wolf Trap, but it's a co-headlining thing w/ Joey Bossanova. Unfortunately, like last year with the Tedeschi Trucks Band co-headlining w/ Whiskey Myers, I won't be going to this show...

The trickle is better than the waiting another month or two to get the full schedule, but I do wish WT would get the initial main drop of Summer 2026 shows out.

Heads up for any Robert Plant fans: The emcee at the Dakhabrakha show the other night told the audience that Plant would be announcing tour dates this week and Albuquerque was on the list. So if you live in a smaller market it's possible he might be hitting your town too.

Yeah, I wanted to go see him at the Lincoln Theater in DC, but missed the sale date and they went quick. I'm hoping he comes back to Wolf Trap this summer. Saw him there w/ Alison Krauss in 2023...they were excellent.

Was also listen to his latest on the commute this morning...great album.

Oh that's cool, I didn't know we were the first date on the tour. I realize he's been touring this year too, but that's still kind of fun.

So, by way of appreciating Dune and then Tim Shamalammaloo's acting in the movies and then watching A Complete Unknown, my 15 year old has become a big fan of Bob Dylan. He has long been interested in social issues thanks to his parents (yay us!) and the current political and social climate has become fertile ground for Dylan's classic folks tunes. He's connecting with the message and getting more into music as a result.

For Christmas he is getting tix to see Dylan in Asheville in the spring. Ideally, he'll add more dates and play somewhere closer to the DMV, but he'll be seeing him either way (or maybe both). I know that Bob isn't a play the "hits" type of guy, but he seems to avoid playing a single rote set, so maybe my son will get to hear one or two of the tunes that he's currently digging. Worst case, he gets to see a living legend.

Paul Simon has just announced a UK tour. Will try to get tickets if they're not ridiculous pricesm.

They will be ridiculous.

Yeah this is a small auditorium. We paid £60 to see the Muppets Xmas carol with an orchestra a few weeks back, Ill be surprised if they're under 250 quid
