First $100,000 guitar pedal or Bust? JHS

Interesting/fun story. But like he said in the video, most folks won't notice a difference in the clean channel and certainly have never played a Dumble to use as a reference. Since all the circuit design, layout and build have been done, if it were me, I would just keep putting them out as is. They're popular pedals and have been selling well from what I've seen. OTOH, this could be a way to generate more buzz about the Notadumble and have two versions, and die-hard pedal geeks will want to have both. Kinda like the silver and gold Klons. :shrug:

Edit: for those who didn't make it through the video, remaining stock goes on sale today, 5/23/25 at 4pm Central. They're listed at $119. Kinda tempting....

Yeah, it's still a dumble circuit, just not as advertised, should be simple to correct the literature and move on. I want one, but sorta have to wait until they go to Thomann like the Notaklon eventually did.

$120, which would come down to $108 after applying the 10% coupon you'll get if you sign up for texts. I suspect they will sell out fast today. If you want to get one, best be on the JHS site right at 4pm central.

The coupon doesn’t apply to kits.


The checkout on the site is borked.
I’ve had a spinning circle for an hour - multiple attempts on multiple machines.
I can load the cart. Just can’t pay.

I'm in Germany, so on top of that I'll get hit on 19% VAT and Lord knows what whacky Tariff things might be going on from day to day. I can wait. I don't NEED it, just want it.
