As a former elementary school teacher, April Fools Day is one of my least favorite days of the year.

Today is trash day. So, I stood outside my house without pants waiting for the trash truck to show up. When they pulled up, I yelled, “April Fools!” They just stared at me with horrified looks on their faces.
I tried the same thing with the mail carrier at noon. I got the same kind of reaction.
The cops showed up at my house and arrested me for indecent exposure. When my wife came to bail me out of jail, I shouted, “April Fools!” She was angry and embarrassed.
This has been the best April Fools Day ever!
