I stumbled across this https://www.freewayswitch.com/products/

They have Gibson and Fender style pickup switches with 6 (Gibson) or 10 (Fender) positions. The Gibson version operates like a manual transmission gearshift. Seems a little complicated to me - especially for live playing, but for the studio I suppose you could get a much wider range of tone options.

Stewmac carries them.

I use like a lot positions. Now, at 63, I have to be more careful.

I have a 6 way LP toggle and a 10 way strat/tele. The blade one is easier to use because it goes forward and back like a regular but you “tilt” the top of the toggle and it shifts over like 5 top row and 5 bottom row.

Useful if you want coil options without mini toggles or push pulls.
