Have ever worked with someone that was famous or infamous? Either way.

blah, blah, blah...
My first real job I worked in a group with the engineer responsible decades long GM failing roof liners in the 70s and 80s maybe the 90s too. I had a 78 Cutlass and an 80's Impala with the roof liner stapled back up or sitting on my head. It wasn't because the glue failed but the foam disintegrated. if you've ever seen the issue.

That project was shut down in one of the many endless reorganizations. He wrote a final report and found a new job. My boss continued to find a solution he couldn't find. Less than three months after he left the company my boss and I found a solution to the problem he hadn't solved in years. It passed all the test protocols he said would not fail in a car. Just a little late. he was pissed.

I did not work for GM. I worked for a company that was trying to sell expanded foam roof liners. I've never seen that tech being used.

His one direct employee was the one who told every visitor or new employee that he was the GM failed roof liner guy. Seemed like everyone at the time had the issue. lol

I did backstage and security in my younger years and have met and worked with many, many artists who are famous in my country but not so much abroad. Some of them, very few though, are also known for doing and saying not so cool things. I guess it's a weird bubble and you easily lose touch when people applaud you no matter what you do. Until they don't.

Infamous= quite a few ex colleagues have made the national press for CP offences or inappropriate behaviour toward students ;/

Not worked with but im friendly with an international (as in played at the World Cup) footballer. My dad worked with his.

A good friend of Mrs jbj is friendly with one of my musical heroes. He's in town in a few weeks on tour. We already have tickets. I'm trying not to make it too obvious but I am dying for an invite to dinner or soundcheck.

A guy I worked very closely with for six years. After he left our company he shot a woman, and what was called on the news a love triangle. Thankfully she survived. The guy then drove into the woods where his family had property and shot himself. They didn’t find his body for almost a year. I made sure to lock my doors cause I thought he was on the lamb.
We got along just fine otherwise.

I played in a band with William for a few years before we fired him for being a shitty drummer and a shitter person. He briefly went on to some success with Ozomatli before losing that gig and then trying to "cut Satan out of his mom" on the driveway of their home with a meat cleaver.

What a charmer.

Wouldn't say I've worked with any of these folks, but some of our residents have included Tex Watson, Lyle Menendez, and Scott Peterson :embarrassed:

I wonder if Tex was happy with his portrayal in Once upon a Time in Hollywood.
