Bought this on red vinyl when it came out for Record Store Day 6 years ago, and due to turntable issues just now peeled it open and put it on for the first time. Sounds great so far! Humorous note: went to find that image of the cover, and saw it on offer for $400. :messedup:

Foreigner 1978. Too loud, too much phony showbiz gloss. The opening act was Cheap Trick and they were way better.

I’ve done it a few times. No point missing something you want to see just because the timing is bad for others.

I have my eye on that unit for a server. I’m sure there are cheaper options, but staying on brand should simplify things.

I’m considering jumping into Roon to manage and play my music files (I have hundreds, from my CD collection that I ripped and gave away, and also lots of high res downloads). Any feedback? Would be interested in knowing what you use for a server with it as well.

It was brutal today in central Texas. I got a monster case of heat exhaustion on the golf course and had to withdraw with 7 holes still to play. It was embarrassing to leave my group like that, but I figured if I passed out it would be even more embarrassing. :facepalm:
