Yup it was a good time. As for the PA, on the back of the mixer, for each input, there is a line-mic switch. I was running the amps direct, so I just assumed that meant have the switch on line... I was mistaken. I'm fairly new to running a PA, so I am still learning.

It's not like your guitar will explode or anything. The main problem will be with volume outputs. I don't know the power rating of either of those pickups, but if they are very different, you'll notice a big change when you switch pickups. It's not that big of a deal if you just play at home...

Maybe the higher end gold hardware holds up better... on my Epis it wear in really fast and gets pretty nasty. Or maybe my skin is more acidic or something. Not knocking it, that LPC is sexy as hell.

Yeah some people complain about Epiphones having tuning issues and stuff with the stock hardware. I never had any problems, other than the visual stuff. Thanks for all the comments folks!
