One way to tell that people @work don't like you...

Jelly danishes and bagel dogs? Hmm. I'm definitely a West Coast kid.

Yeah, Jimboy's :thu: You know the only problem with Jimboy's? Eating a six-pack of tacos, that's what.

The bread is different from danishes and bagels. And turns out Texas is pretty flush with tacos, as well.

So a kolache a a certain type of bread with different fillings?

Also, there are no Jimboy's tacos in Texas. They might have tacos, but they don't have Jimboy's tacos.

Yes, but do you know what a pączki is?

No, I didn't, but that looks awesome.

Yes, they vary a little bit from place to place. But they are pastry brought over by the early Czech immigrants IIRC, and the bread is kind of unique.

Ok. I guess we can turn this into a regional restaurant pissing contest, but it seems kind of pointless.

EDIT - Next time I am unfortunate enough to be in Sacramento, I'll have to check them out.

No pissing contest necessary, just having fun, man. Or at least I was

Anyway, back to the OT, I don't know that I've ever seen an outright celebration for somebody getting fired. I would be pleased if somebody brought donuts, or kolache, or Jimboy's, or whatever, though. I can grub some free food

Damn that place and their totally awesome-but-not-traditional-tacos.

One of those things that people don't get till they have one.

Damn you Punchy. Damn you. Now I have to get some tomorrow. I've already had a beer, otherwise I'd be driving over there now. You're in big trouble mister.

We've got one only about 4 minutes away. It's bad news.

Californian Mexican Food
Greatest ever or oxymoron?
Da Best.
Though not my usual staple, behold the awesomeness that is

Yep, that's the thing around here. Hundreds of Mexican food places of all types. Some are even pretty good, but many are hazardous, slime in the ice machine places.

I was looking at the Chuy's website and discovered they now have a restaurant in Cincinnati! California could use a few, for educational purposes.
