Dig it! The Official Winter NAMM 2013 Gear Thread!

I think Vox needs to rethink its' current direction. They have not had much of a hit since the AmPlug, and that's not saying much. Their looper, headphones, and now their guitars look to be huge failures. Which leaves their amps, and as far as the modelling amps go, they had better get to working on some new ones that are not just simply retreads on the Valvetronix that came before. Line 6 and Fender has just about left them in the dust at this point.

I love my Valvetronix, but my love of Vox amps played a large part in my choice to get that particular amp over Fender and Line 6. Why let logic get in the way of nostalgia. (We Boomers worship at the Shrine of Nostalgia. :hippie:)

Independent of all the gear drool, it is good to see EVH up and moving again after his scare with diverticulitis early this year. Ignore the guy wanking, Ed walks in about 3/4 on the way in. I know current popular opinion is "who the fuck is Eddie Van Halen", but he was a huge inspiration to me a loads of guys who learned to play in the late 70's/80's.

I'm trying to figure out what those G&L's all the way to the right are. I am assuming something from the SC line but it looks like it has the HB in the bridge and the large single coil they use in the neck. I have always said those are the two best pickups I have ever played and if I could build a guiter that is how it would be set up. Going to have to figure out what that is.
