Played my last gig for a while on Friday night. Mostly hung out with the family and watched movies. Did my first livestream for the new channel. Skip the first 10 minutes as they are me figuring things out:

All football has been cancelled for the time being so the big derby day yesterday was off.

Wife and I were on the Isle of Bute for our friends very low key stag instead.

Friday - arrived, had food, drank a lot, played Monopoly.

Saturday - Went a pub crawl around town, had a reasonably nice Indian then headed back to the house and drank some more.

Sunday - I needed to head home for work so got the ferry about 1 o clock. Ordered pizza when I got home and fell asleep watching junk on the TV.

Worked on a plan for production folks to work from home. Not everyone's job can go home but trying to figure out what products can be kitted for pickup by employees to build at home. Had a big organization weekend with everything else. Basically worked so that folks at work can work.

Friday: Panic shopping and rehearsing for show on Saturday.

Saturday: Voted. Found out I’ve likely been exposed to coronavirus through an employee at work. Spent half the day on the phone and email doing work shit. Cancelled my gig. Went for a walk at the local nature center and avoided people.

Sunday: More phone/email work stuff. Bunch of communication with non-work folks. Made a hot water crust savory pie. Stayed inside except for a short walk outside where I kept my distance from everyone.

Grocery shopping Saturday, cleaned a bit of the front yard, movies
Sunday - One more trip to store in the neighborhood for a couple items. more movies, watched Bernie put the Bern on Biden

We've been in self-isolation since last Friday. Watched the DeWolff live stream from an empty Dutch club on Facebook last night, finally read the special paleoanthropology section in terrible French rag Le Point that I had been saving for a plaguey weekend, watched too much YouTube.

Now the schools are shut and some of the many household children are already stir crazy with cabin fever and we're locked down until at least 6 April ("April 6").

typical daily cardio gym visits for me, place is becoming a ghost town with all the COVID-19 crap, home made pizza on Saturday, smoked some baby backs on Sunday after a trip to the range to cycle a couple hundred rounds through the HK, and no cigars this weekend.:roflwtf: but then I have all week for cigars :old: .............

Friday - Nothing

Saturday - went to BJ's for a normal run. The gas station there was empty, which is super unusual. Went in and it was a total cluster and this was about 15 minutes after it opened. Loaded the cart with what I needed, and went over to check out only to see they shifted the checkout. The usual 10 items or less self checkout was open to everyone, so there were close to 50 people in line with over flowing carts, so I wasn't about to wait in line that long for my 4 items, so I left the cart and bailed. Got home and the youngest said since school was canceled until April 10, she wanted to go to Florida for the week.

Sundy - The youngest and I loaded up the car and drove to Florida. It's 65 degrees here at 8:30 AM and 36 at home. She only wants to stay until Friday, I said we can stay as long as she wants

No thing much....WFH Friday as usual. Retired the current configuration of my pedal board.

Sat we woke up to our first and likely only day with snow on the ground...which was gone by the afternoon. Tried to do our usual Sat grocery store run in the early AM but all the stores that are usually open have limited their hours. Went back out after the store opened and of course shelves were bare in the usual TP, rice, beans, pasta, canned foods, sanitization supplies. Tons of fresh produce & meat/seafood though so if you know how to cook, you’re in business

Sun was cleaning up around the yard for all the branches and shit that came down w/ the weight of snow and wind from Sat.Made some sandwich bread and then a pizza for dinner.

Worked on getting set up for a an equitable, optional, online final exam this week and online-everything teaching next quarter, buncha running, got the sourdough starter all fired up (just started my autolyze for a batch of whole wheat/buckwheat sourdough), lots of solo dog walks, even some guitar playing. I was pretty much an expert level social-distancer before all this, so other than the whole breakdown of polite society and death and financial hardships, it's not really all that different than business as usual at casa yabba

Friday- I scanned a bunch of photos from the four towns that were gutted and flooded to form the Quabbin Reservoir. In the afternoon I went to film the green screen portion of the video of my Lost Towns video. I went to Walmart for bird seed and saw the devastation of panic buying. The church board decided to cancel all events including services for the next few weeks.

Saturday- I was going to be setting up sound for the church coffeehouse but that was cancelled. Instead we cleared out more of the attic.

Sunday - I worked on some songs that were sitting around. I may go to the studio later today and record them.

The first day on my vacation, I woke up.
Then I went downtown to look for a job.
Then I hung out in front of the drugstore.

No shopping needed since I started buying stuff a little at a time the first week of February. If everyone did this, there would be no shit festivals at the stores. Treated myself with a purchase of Jefferson's Reserve Twin Oak for the apocalypse.

Saturday, rode 21 miles. My back is still fucked up from last Saturday's ride, but I say, fuck it. It's time to live.
Checked out the SpaceX Falcon 9 exhibit on the way home.

Sunday, rode 16 miles. Planted some tomato plants and rose bushes.
Finished the first season of Hunters.

Friday - Practiced guitar.....

Saturday - Took my daughter to her last ice skating class (for now). Went to the mall for a bit. Went to Guitar Center and looked at the acoustic guitars (nothing of any interest). Looked at some electrics. Found a PRS on clearance that really felt alive when I played it - but didn't plug it in. Bought some headphones. That evening pulled the trigger on a new (used) acoustic on Reverb.

Sunday - Braved the elements (freezing drizzle) and went to the grocery store at 6:20AM. Ends up they changed their hours and would not open until 7:embarrassed:0. Hung a Starbuncks for a bit then went back. Crowd of about 100 at the door. Got in and headed for the TP aisle. Everyone knows everyone needs TP - but still some selfish assholes seen walking away with about 50 - 100 rolls each. I managed to snag a 6 pack (of TP). But the supply was gone maybe 2 minutes after they opened. Did some food shopping and got various staples. Mid-morning our church had a streaming service since they are not holding public services. Practiced guitar for a couple hours. I'm learning a few worship tunes in advance of starting to play with my church (which has some seriously good musicians). Very cool that the guy who played on the original recording cut a video explaining the various parts he played. It's a different style than I am used to. Caught the last 15 or so minutes of Mark's Livestream.
