Looks like a Bowtar. Not much on the Net (because it failed miserably), but I remember the ads in GP back in the late '70s regarding the "bowtar" - a guitar that had a ridiculously curved fretboard, and violin/cello-style cutouts on the sides to allow bow travel. I guess they were trying to cash in on the Jimmy Page guitar-bowing...craze...
