BS - Before we put down Lamb Chop I thought a lot about quality of life. I tried to look at it from different angles - pain the animal is enduring - is there good days and bad days or all bad days - can I continue to care for the animal. I was starting to see there was no hope of Lamb getting better - we probably could not care for her between the two of us - and it was no life laying in the front hall. I do feel Lamb made the decision for us when on that last morning she stopped eating.

Changing topics I changed the Speaker in the Laney to a Celestion G10N-40, and this was a big improvement for the GAINy LANey.
 
Still home, but about to head out on a "errand" or two :wink:.

I have used Chrome for years now, and I have never really had an issue with it. If for some reason Chrome is wonky when visiting HC, but nowhere else, well, I know where I'M gonna point the finger :embarrassed:.
 
So I have been looking at phones w/ Data Plans - I don't think I can get cheaper than Virgin Mobile for $35. Then just buy a phone that works with it - probably the HTC Evo.

We're starting to have to think about "end of life" issues with our cat. She's basically a dumpster-kitty we found on our patio two years ago, and she's really sort of gross (she is ancient, is in kidney failure, has matted fur, often smells bad, etc.) However, she IS a sweet little thing and we just don't know when it's time. She still enjoys sitting on our laps and getting petted, but has to stay outdoors much of the time because of her poor hygiene and the fact that in the middle of the night she starts yowling for no apparent reason. I wish there was some guidance on "kitty quality of life". We don't want to have her put to sleep if she's still loving life, but we also don't want her to suffer needlessly. This is a decision we haven't had to make before, and it's a lot harder than I figured it would be.

I'm making jello shots for the Super Bowl party tomorrow. That's one way to use up the Knob Creek.

I didn't mention that I bought a used Heritage H-150P. That model has a poplar body. It's awesome.

I think my wife is ready to bite the next person who mentions the Superbowl. The 49ers stadium is just about exactly 1 kilometer from our front door, as the crow flies, and the damn thing just looms over the neighborhood. I think she's pretty much over the niners...

seems like all the Heritages must be in east. I have never seen a Heritage on the local CL or at a local store.
 
I got this one from ebay. It had a low BIN price for that model so it was well within my budget. It was priced well under what they usually sell for. This one has been played so it needs some TLC. I'm going to rewire it. I'll probably leave the stock Schallers in it. Or I may put in a set of Burstbuckers that I have.

PK - Nice Heritage

So I have this sore throat/head cold that started yesterday. Still have it. Sasha has a touch of diarrhea last night - let fly in our closet. I cleaned that up just after mid night in the dark. So, you know, had better Sunday mornings.

So I took a nap, and I knew I was still sick when I woke up. My wife took Sasha to play with her son's dogs for a couple hours. This will be good for us tonight as she will burn off some goofy puppy energy playing with the other dogs.

This diarrhea thihng has been going on off and on for a few weeks - I am starting to think Sasha has some kind of parasite. Better get it checked out.
