Stuff we didn't know about Bud Cort

I <3 Harold and Maude

(I think that might be the only movie with Bud Cort in it that I've ever seen though)

edit: I've seen The Life Aquatic, didn't notice him there although wikipedia says he was in that too

He was great in Life Aquatic. I love that movie. Harold and Maude is one of my all time favorites. I've probably seen it 30+ times and I have the book!

It's a great movie. I might rewatch it soon. I saw it on t.v. when I was 16. That was my intro into Cat Steven's.

likewise I don't remember Bud in LA either.I might have to checkout Brewster McCloud, sounds kinda interesting.

If you haven't seen the movie M*A*S*H, watch it. If you've avoided it because of the corny TV show, don't - the movie is nothing like the show.

Cort turns in a solid performance.

I don't know how you can miss Bud Cort in Life Aquatic. He is the insurance adjuster or whatever that gets kidnapped by the pirates and it's hilarious.

You haven’t seen M*A*S*H? (Hasn’t aged particularly well, but still.)

But yeah. Harold & Maude is a beautiful movie that’s good for the soul and gets better with every viewing.

I'm not sure that's a fair statement about M*A*S*H. Certainly morals (particularly attitudes about women) have evolved a great deal since the Korean war (or even 1970 when it was filmed for that matter), but the state of morality at the time isn't the movie's fault.
