Listen to this - Still Comes the Night

I cannot claim that this is a 100% original track. The melody, chord progression and arrangement are very much inspired by a San Francisco band, Wooden Shjips and their song, "These Shadows" from 2013. really love that song, so this is my Homage... my "Tribute" (couldn't remember the greatest song in the world, this is just a tribute).

Except for a doubled rhythm guitar in the outro, this is all done with the new Warmoth Strat I just put together. Through my Bassman, cranked (with a load box into a Two Notes Torpedo and direct into the interface) a Way Huge STO for boost into a U/A 1176 compressor pedal to a Boss GE-7 Equalizer, and then into an Earthquakers Device Afterneath reverb.

Sounds like Brian Jonestown Massacre to me, but I have a limited vocabulary for this genre. I usually look forward to your tracks because of your synth textures, but I don't miss them here in a guitar-dominated setting. It's way too long for me, but that's just my taste.

Yeh, I have divested the synths to feed the resurgent guitar centric GAS. However, I can recreate with online tools, I still have a controller keyboard
