Before I wanted Germany to winwin but didn't REALLY mind if Argentina won.

Now I really want a win with a goal from Schweinsteiger. That shit was cheap.
 
The best team won. We're satisfied with the result and happy it didn't go to kicks from the spot. That would have been dire -- since Argentina hasn't won clean since the goal in the 8th minute against Belgium...

Yup absolute fucking nonsense. He did next to nothing tonight as well as most games - OK he banged in 4 goals overall but to me player of the tournament is about a rounded contribution, if you base it just on what you do in a given position then there's a proper argument that the Yank keeper should have won...

It's no surprise fb is going mental with people running off names of several dozen other more deserving players than him. What's the odds a bunch of top FIFA briefcase wankers had large sums of money on Messi winning it?
