Congratulations! OOOs are right smack in my sweet spot - although for some reason I usually end up preferring the 12-fretters. I could tell by your second photo that this was a not-recent model, which are the only bound Martins I would ever consider these days (due to production issues that Martin has fumbled). I have played a couple of those, and one of the very best guitars I ever picked up (at Gryphon Stringed Instruments in Palo Alto) and sadly had to put down because of finances at the time) was an 000-28ec.

Funny enough, I'm considering trading in about four or five electric guitars (I currently have seven, although these days I play acoustics 90+% of the time) at Dave's guitars and adding some cash to the pot to get another fine acoustic. I'll have to A/B the McPherson Sable against some Martins to see what comes home with me when I do this - probably April timeframe.

Thank You. This one is actually a Quad- O, OOOO-28. so thinner depth then a dreadnaught, but wider lower bout. 16". Great sound but more comfortable (to my experience trying -18/-28 varieties. No Martin Expert). Yeah, this one took the sale of a Moogerfooger MF104-M and my PSR plus the trade of a mid-tier Breedlove, but worth it!
