Too Controversial To Have An Athleisure Line
I went totally digital when gigging long ago. My Classic 30 has been sitting with blown tubes and a blown fuse for years. Live, I was playing a BOSS GX-100 into a Headrush frfr, and at home I practice with a Fender Super Champ. Well, I'm not gigging anymore, and I wanted something a little more versatile for practicing (and maybe recording) at home. Enter the Katana Gen 3 50 Ex combo. It arrived today, and I tested out all the things--high gain with a Charvel, spanky clean with a Strat, crunch with a Tele, and "pushed" with a D'Angelico semihollow. It sounds freaking great! And there's an adjustable lead boost and a bunch of effects. Really simple to dial in a usable sound. Definitely a keeper.
