Gary Blanchard

beloved, local musician
I've been playing the Gibson for a couple of years and decided that, as nice as it is, the action was a bit higher than I would like. On Monday I took it to a guy in Sturbridge who has done some work for me in the past. I picked it up today and absolutely love it. For a relatively small amount of money the guitar is better than ever.

I still don't know what I will do when the custom build is done. I would like to hold on to this, but also hate to have it sitting if I prefer the new one. I guess I'll just see what happens.

J45 has a pretty singular tone...I doubt the new one will be sonically similar enough to make it redundant...having options, especially for someone like you who writes and records prolifically, is a very good thing...

Yeah. That is why I will wait until I have the other for a while before I decide anything. I do know that taking two guitars to a gig is enough. I am not about to take three. Especially if I start taking the digital piano as well. :bigg: Then it would really be roadie time. :corksniffer:

Space is a problem for me. Our house is small and so is my studio. I can only fit so many cases in my house. I donated one little-used Epiphone and may need to eliminate one of the Luna guitars. l held on to the two Trinity guitars, 6 and 12-string, as they remind me of Yvonne DeVilliers and her kindness and generosity. I don't want to let them go if I can help it.
