Official MWGL Stoopid Dealz of the Day Thread!....

The funny thing is that every super, duper, uber, mega cheap guitar does seem to come with the cheapest gigbag that's thinner than the first layer my 3D printer lays down. I could probably piece together a better 3D printed gigbag. LOL

I'm just always paranoid about how thick a gigbag even is. I (extremely sadly) don't take any of the collection out of the house very often but I have hardshells for most styles. I'm realistically only missing an SG hardshell and one for my Gretsch G5655TG at this point. Some of those gigbags from the weirdly named Amazon sellers make me wonder if they're actually any good.

Yeah, my case of choice is the Fender/Charvel/Chainsaw style case... the exterior is more durable than tolex covered wood, they're lighter, and honestly take up the same space as a semi-rigid gig bag. :baimun:

Adorama has H&A gig bags cheap. All the reviews are good. Still seems iffy. Like, the description has no specs just "ample padding".

I don’t really sweat cases/bags. Then again I tend to favor indestructible bolt on type guitars. My good tele came in a retro Rolex case and it’s fine. The Mono that came with my Harmony seems good.

I’m still amazed that I got the five string, two pickup Sterling bass for $250 last year. That deal was nuts.

$40 Road runner guitar gig bag.... which I thought was a decent deal, until I looked on Amazon and saw how inexpensive a cheap gig bag can be....

Kinda pisses me off that when you buy a guitar how many don't at least come in a protective sock.
Depends, I’ve had 2 Road Runner bags in the past and they are really well padded and have excellent zippers. Last purchased 6 years ago.
