Non-shreddy album closer leads

Dexter Inferno

Serious error
Figured this deserved it's own thread. Was listening to some Flower Kings stuff and Roine's leads got me thinking.
He's really good at the non-shreddy thing while having shitloads of emotion in his playing. Outside of him and Steve Hackett who else is there?

Rule for this thread - absolutely no Eddie or any country players. They are not capable of tasteful playing.

Song that triggered this thread is Roine Stolt's lead on Rising The Imperial which is probably my fave lead in the history of rock, outside of maybe Firth of Fifth.
It's the chromatic thing as well as following the chords that's so incredible. Which no rock player ever does, to be honest.

So...bring it on.

Hard not to mention Gilmour and I'm gonna throw Gary Moore's live version of 'Empty Rooms' solo. Yeah it might be disqualified for being to shreddy but wow

I was thinking Gary too. It's not shreddy by his standards. It's not an album closer.
His vocals are on point.

It's a band effort, but Still Loving You has those tasty slow leads by Rudy Schenker at the end of the awesome tasty shredded leads of Mathias Jabs which made up Love at First Sting.

i don't know if this qualifies, but not shreddy and definitely is emotional.
