PunkKitty got me thinking about cheap guitars that are actually decent with his Firefly post so I looked around locally and found this on Offer Up for $50 with a hard case. I figured the case might be worth it if not the guitar, but I was happily surprised. I had to clean it up and tighten a few things but that's it. It plays well, stays in tune, the neck is straight and the intonation is real close if not spot on. I would use it on a gig as a second. The pick ups are not great but ok. the bridge is fully adjustable. I want to turn it into a Super Strat. I know you guys can help me source a loaded pick guard and a bridge.

the pickguard on my '96 MIJ is a little bigger so I would say yes. There seems to be room for it. I would be interested in a HSS or a HSH. Not sure about the bridge yet.
