New TV or new guitar? A modern man's conundrum.

I'm moving out in the spring, getting my own apartment (no more roommate!). I'll leave it to you to decide which I should buy, since I don't need either and they both cost around the same price. New Vizio 42" LCD TV or used Fender American Telecaster in 3-tone sunburst: which shall it be?

Get the tv. Women can come over and watch it in your new apartment or buy an acoustic and you can play it softly in your new apartment to make women all hot for you. It worked for Prages

I should clarify that it worked for Prages at first.

Now Mrs. P hates my guitars with a passion. In fact, she rues the day that she let me have my own music room.

I would go with a Kitchen Aide stand mixer, some kick ass pans and a good chefs knife personally.

but I haz a Tele and I really don't watch much TV.

I do eat though. EVERY FREAKING DAY. cop0

Do you already have a nice guitar?

I have an american strat, gibby lp double cut, epiphone dot w/ '57s and a Martin acoustic. But I don't have a tele. :embarrassed:

I had a Lite Ash Tele for a couple of years. Didn't really play it much, although it did sound great for some of the recording I do. I didn't really enjoy gigging with it though, and it ended up only getting used very occasionally, so I sold it.

I vote TV then :embarrassed:

I owned a '72 Tele deluxe reissue, which isn't really a Tele due to its shitty humfucker pickups. I've been gassing for one since my buddy got his upgraded with Texas specials and it's the best sounding guitar my amp has experienced.

I agree with the Warmoth build. I'll never buy another Fender unless something dramatic happens with that company.
