The 400ft unit have been his backing band since he left the Truckers. I think they have changed drummers and added Sadler Vaden on the last solo album, but Jimbo Hart, Chad Gamble and Derry deBorja have been on almost all of Jason's post Truckers work. Including Southeastern and Something More Than Free. (Even though Jimbo's name was missing from the CD liner notes) I'm not sure why some of his albums are Jason Isbell and the 400 ft Unit and some are just Jason Isbell.
