a good kind of terrible
More NAMMbulating 2016 photos and videos here: http://elevenshadows.com/sss/namm2016/ These photos were all taken with my iPhone, for you photography nerds who like to know stuff like that. This is not meant to be comprehensive at all. It's just simply what I saw in a limited period of time. Enjoy. There is very little guitar stuff in this one for whatever reason, just in case you are looking for that, although there are a number of cool pedals you may enjoy, if you love odd pedals. I so hate to disappoint.
DSI/Oberheim OB-6 analog synthesizer
The Island of Electronicus at Moog, with the Moog System-32 semi-modular synthesizer.
The amazing and unusual sounding Earthquaker Devices Rainbow Machine harmonizer pedal. Earthquaker Devices have some amazing pedals.
The Vermona 14 analog synthesizer, a really good sounding analog synth that was fun to play, with some nice complex sounds and quite a bit of girth to many of the tones.
Holy crud. This Boomstar Modular Tonestar was so gushy warm and complex sounding. It might be tempting for me to explore this more. Since I'm a keyboard player, I would love to throw this in the keyboard controller that accommodates Euroracks (next photo).
I didn't write down the name of this, but it's basically a keyboard that accommodates these various Eurorack synths. Nice. I'm a keyboard player, and especially value the addition of a keyboard, especially when it is integrated like this. But even if one is not a keyboard player, they make such great triggers anyway.
