I know a few of us Weiners are at NAMM. Wish I could be there with ya, but it was not in the cards for 2025.

Plop that cool, interesting, or fucking terrible NAMM stuff here so the rest of us can live vicariously through you! Or, if you're a pleb like me and you have a link, paste it here.

Last night we were with the reps from LD Systems debuting the new Malia modular line array. Sounded absolutely epic.

The venue is a cool vintage recording studio with a performance space out back. Spent some time talking to the owner and enjoying the people there.

Featured act of the night was a really good R&B / pop vocalist… I want to say her name was Moxie, but Ill have to check the spelling. Her bassist was a very attractive Aussie who had all of the stage hands falling all over themselves. :lmbo:

Nothing screams Gibson more than a headstock made if broken out of broken headstocks.

Tech 21 NYC has some cool aluminium wah pedals. The normal model has a button in the corner… the Kotzen is a slightly different tune and is spring loaded.

Met with the people from LR Baggs and told them what heinous things I have planned for modifying their instrument. :baimun:

What're you looking to do the Baggs guitar?
They seem quite cool for the live acoustic player...probably have a nice sound acoustically. The principle is like an even more acoustic leaning Godin Duet/Multiac, with less of top glued to the solid/frame part of the guitar. Seems like a mag pup could be easily added to the soundhole baffle.

Ding ding. The front and back free resonate. That circular spot is attached to the frame that is supporting the neck. I told him it looks easy to remove that puck and make some that hold a pickup and run that to a separate output. :baimun:
