Horny bag of electric meat
My 94 year old aunt was just diagnosed with cancer. I don't know all the details. Up until she entered the hospital, I used to visit her regularly just to chat over cake and coffee. She's very well read and stays on top of world events. No dementia here. She was in Germany at the time of Hitler's rise to power and saw him at a rally in Leipzig at a rally as a young girl. Her parents sent her to live there with her grandparents for a few years to learn the language and culture. Before the war started, her parents had her returned to the US. She is my last remaining link to my distant relatives in Germany. I know losing her is inevitable, but it still sucks. I just hope that her demise is quick and as painless as possible.
