My daughter is a senior at Maine College of Art in Portland, ME.
She was supposed to be at a Halloween party down the street from where she lives, but couldn't go.
Well, the house ended up burning down and killed 5 of her friends.
They don't know all the identities yet as the bodies haven't all been identified, but a few have been positively ID'd, and the others, well.....she has a few that are still "missing" so it isn't looking good.
Worst fire in 30 years.
My wife (more than I remember) had met a couple of the kids that died. Horrible.

We just found out that one of the victims was positively ID'd by her mother who could only identify the body from the locket she was wearing.
My daughter, understandably, and a lot of other people are really upset. Obviously. I know the street is still shut down, and all kinds of shit is going on over there......unreal.
