Logan's Roadhouse declares bankruptcy

The last time we went there (10 or more years ago) we sat there for 10 minutes with no service and finally walked out.

They had a decent burger though as I recall.

I was disappointed in the ribs the one time I got them there. They came with a ketchupy bbq sauce…not a fan of that style of sauce.

To be fair, that was years ago when a Logan's Roadhouse first opened in Kalamazoo. I went with a couple of friends for lunch about a year ago, and the food seemed to be of better quality than when they first opened. I think the Texas Roadhouse just down the street has done much better business than Logan's, fwiw.
 
I honestly thought this chain had shut down years ago, after Five Guys took the shitty-food-and-peanuts fad downmarket.

I would have killed to eat at Ruby Tuesday's instead of some of the places on I80 when we drove across country. It's amazing how bad restaurants can be.
 
I'm actually sorry to hear it. I liked the relaxed atmosphere at Logan's. I know you can get a better steak, but then I'm not a gourmet anyway.
 
One of the worst meals of my life was at a Logan's. We ended up getting our whole check comped for our entire party of eight. Terrible service, terrible food.

We had a Texas Roadhouse down the road from me in Loveland and we also have one about five minutes away from us here in Hamilton. That's one of our favourite places to go, because their steaks are great, service is fast, friendly and I've never had them fuck up a single order. After all the years I spent working in restaurants I know what to look for, and their management takes care of shit, their cooks are properly trained and so is the staff.
 
Woke up this morning really missing Logan's Roadhouse. Why do the best things always go away?
 
just go to dave and busters. you are not going to get a better steak in an arcade setting, hands down.
