Should be out for delivery tomorrow. It’s actually a Harmony Juno which is the new Harmony spin on the old H44 or Doublet. I’ve had my eye on them since they released but always went in a different direction when shopping. Then I got the bug for a P90 guitar again but wasn’t bonding with any of the Gibson’s I tried. Played a few Harmonys recently (including one PK was selling) and really dug the overall vibe/quality but was kinda being a Goldilocks about the tones/neck profiles. Played a Juno at CME and really dug it. Neck is chunky. Ergonomics are good. Pickups sounds super sweet.
CME had a scratch and dent model for a great price in that candy apple rose color, but I kinda wanted to look around for a white one before I bought it. Then I stumbled across a fancy factory special color (fiesta red) and was smitten but didn’t want to pay too much for just a pretty paint job even though I’ve been lusting after a bunch of fiesta red guitars lately. Sent a lowball offer to a shop on Reverb that still had the fiesta red in stock just to see if they would bite and they did.
