This was a lot of fun..started by MisterSully over in EG..he played the drums live which makes it much more interesting to play to imo..tempo shifts and all. Here's the BT:

and here's my take..yeah, I'm addicted to the autowah at the moment :facepalm:..though I thought it fit the feel of the track. :embarrassed:..I played straight through in one take without listening beforehand..which might have been a mistake!

I like this bt- I might give this one a shot- a real laid back groove kinda feel. I like how mosiddiqi leaves space between phrases & his playing fits w/the loose feel of the bt.I like the simple melodic rhythmic thing he does at 3:55.

here is my hacky effort at this funky track.. this was posted on the bloated whale that 2.0 has become but its been lost to the void..
all my jam threads and "i wanna hear your..." threads... gone gone... awell..
just have a little more fun with that cool track sully did this time i used a Talk Box emulation.. and played my LP guitar..

Thanks Suhnton!..yes it is the LP, I'm really enjoying the fatter tone compared to the Strat at the moment...I have been overusing the auto wah for sure recently..:embarrassed:
 
No, no, the wah sounds really great. Actually I think it's quite a difficult effect to use effectively (pun unintened). A lot of people tend to go bat out of hell on it and end up with the "wah" sounding rather haphazard.

:Wave: :grin:...no, same username in HC..but I was nearly always in GJ or the Lesson Loft...I only had a few posts in EG..mostly playing jams that Frets or Dave posted. :)...and that was only in the last few weeks before 2.0.
