I’ve watched a couple Snyder movies and a couple DC Universe movies and they were all terrible. So I stayed away from this one.

I just hope the Snyder Cut colour corrects that shit. That movie looked dull from all the terrible post. As far as plot and pacing, there's only so much you can do when you refused to take the MCU approach of building the franchise character by character.

Aquaman was actually really fun. So was Wonder Woman.

I can’t imagine Snyder doing anything other than pure tedium, and figure that a Snyder cut can only make things worse. I can’t think of a single current Hollywood director with a comparable record with success after success with nothing but utter shit.

The Wonder woman and aqua man movies were only enjoyable in the sense that their stars were so charismatic that even a DCEU movie couldn't completely stifle their light. The whole IP acts like I owe it my eyeballs and doesn't realize it's been Pepsi this whole time.

Nobody in my family could watch the entire Aquaman movie - the plot was so ridiculous, contrived, and utterly devoid of intelligence. Wonder Woman was OK, I guess, but I thought the special effects were execrable...

Michael Bay?

Michael Bay?

I think they’re pretty comparable in terms of how excruciatingly soul-crushing their movies are.

Even so, I’m pretty sure that, if you put a gun to my head and told me that I had to watch either Michael Bay’s 5 best or Zack Snyder’s 5 best in a single sitting, I’d take Bay’s without thinking twice.

Pain and Gain was pretty good for a Michael Bay movie. And 13 Hours was competently executed, if a litte tub thumpy.

Batman Vs Superman killed any chance of me watching another Snyder film. Wonder Woman was tolerable, but not good by a long shot. Aquaman was utterly forgettable for me. As soon as it ended I couldn't have told you a damn thing about it.

That is a tough one, but I'd choose Snyder.

13 Hours was pretty good. I was surprised Michael Bay could make a movie like that.

I liked whatshisname as Batman
I liked gourgeouswhatshernameas Wonder Woman
I think whatshisname is brilliant as Superman
I also enjoyed the movie but yes, something was missing.
