72 degrees....a bit breezy. We do have a severe thunderstorm watch on, but it is pretty clear right now.

We are in a severe drought. Corn looks very stressed.

On the plus side, I haven't had to mow for 3 weeks.

It's been really mild all Spring. We only just hit 90 last week and that's the fifth latest 90 degree day on record.

I’m looking at a high of 79° today. I don’t think it’s gone above 95° so far this year, which is unseasonably cool. And we’ve had lots of rain. Usually I only have to cut my grass once a month in June. This year I’m still cutting it every weekend, usually it slows down in May (fortunately when we bought the new house we get a yard that only takes 5 minutes to mow). On the upside we probably won’t have much in the way of a fire season.

We had a much cooler June than usual with only about13 days of 100 or higher and nights have been in mid 60s until last week
