Gig Report: Is there anything lazier than a webcomic about cats? I mean really every single one of them, every SINGLE one, is one of four of the same stupid jokes

2. Cats like pushing things off of things
3. Cats like being pet in certain areas but not in others
4. Cats like to wake their owners up

That's 99.9% of the jokes in every single little comic strip about cats. One of those four things. let's do better america

say what you will about Garfield, and i mean it's certainly a shitty comic strip, but at least they don't use the same four jokes over and over again. cats don't really like lasagna or hate Mondays so at least it's something somewhat original. every once in a rare while garfield will do something "cat like" as the punchline for the strip but usually you could replace garfield with any kind of pet or even a child or small adult and the joke would still work.

I like cats. Unfortunately, I’m allergic, I’ve never had a pet cat. But, I find them amusing at times. And, kittens are awfully cute. I don’t follow cat webcomics, so I have no opinion about the laziness of their jokes.

I like Heathcliff as well. The surrealism and anti-humor kinda wrecks my head, and that's what I enjoy about it.

I scroll past any webcomic, cats or, anything else. For every thousand, there might be one worth looking at. Unfortunately anybody can make one. It's not like comics in the newspaper where they have to be good because, they are getting paid. Serious question, with the death of so many newspapers, why hasn't that translated to better webcomics on Facebook, etc..
