IR Shootout--The Results Will Shock And Amaze You!!!

I'm just going to hijack this thread a bit and mention that on last night's REVV life stream, they happened to flip on one of the built-in IRs and, while certainly knew about it, hadn't given it much time before.
Then they processed to burn half of the live stream time playing with it. And it was awesome.

The main topic was about their G8 gate pedal, and that was eye-opening as well. Not your typical noise gate.
Of course, with any discussion about noise gates, high gain and lots 'o chugga chugga was involved, but it was still fun. They addressed how it can be useful in lower gain application as well.

Oops, sorry. I did an EQ match of the Palmer IR clip to the Palmer DI clip, then put that EQ on the IR wav before re-rendering.
It came out better, but not 100%. I'll record a comparison of the three and post later.
I may just end up using that Best IR, doing a low cut, and calling it good.

That seems like a no Brainer here, I was sorta hoping you'd invent something even better.

OK, this is the 1st Palmer IR, the updated Palmer IR, the actual Palmer, and something completely different just for grins.

I'm not even guessing this time. I was so far off last time.

I think you told us in order this time. If so, the update sounds pretty good.

Yeah, it was in order. And the more I listen to it, the more I like the new IR.
The completely different one is from a little BOSS GT-1 I got as a backup unit, stock amp and cab models. I thought it sounded surprisingly good for what it is.

Boss was good but maybe too phat in the bottom. If my memory from this morning serves me right.

I liked 1/3/5. 5 originally stood out as favorite, but I wonder whether it because 4 was the immediate reference. Jumping back and forth between the 1/3/5, I liked each for different reasons and would happy with any of the three.

I did not like 2/4.
