Waiting on a Friend, Stones. (One of the stones songs I like better, as it features less Mick rooster strutting). One other thing about this song. It came from an age when we didn’t have cell phones, and if you were supposed to meet your friend on the steps of the brownstone one the corner of 2nd and Elm, and they didn’t show, basically, you had to wait until you didn’t feel like waiting anymore, then go home.
