There's a secret setting in Chrome to force it to use https for designated sites.

Go to chrome://net-internals/ (in your browser address bar)
Click on "Domain Security Policy" in the left column.
And then in the right column under "Add HSTS/PKP domain" add markweinguitarlessons.com.

That cleared up the issue for me. Now it always goes to https://markweinguitarlessons.com even if I type in http://markweinguitarlessons.com

Anyway, just throwing this out there for anyone else having issues logging into this forum from Chrome.
 
I haven’t been having issues logging in, but it keeps kicking me out and making me sign in again. I’ll guve this a look and see if it fixes my issue.

That was my problem. It seems to have fixed it so far...
 
I've been having that issue in my macbook - will try the fix!! It just started within the last week or so....
 
Is there a plan to redirect all request to HTTPS by default and bypass the whole issue?

Jeez, ya think you would learn to take a hint!

But yeah, I think it did that to me a time or too, though it seems fine lately. Will do that step if it becomes an issue.

I’ll have t0 take some time to look into it. Right now I have a music history final, family in town and a gig to freak out over.
 
is there something wrong with Jack's Place?
every time i click on it, my computer brings up the "download" dialog and won't go to the forum.

i was getting a 502 bad gateway and kept trying to get thru and then my computer would only go to the save as download window.
i cleared my browser history and it seems to be working now. try that.
 
Prompted me to try Opera because Firefox was doing that php shit and had otherwise gotten increasingly dismal with freezing and slowness.
 
i don't know what happened, but i've lost all ability to connect with MWGL from home last night. it works from here at work, but still didn't work this morning from home. i tried clearing my browser.

was there some kind of reset that happened last night??
