i adjusted the action on my tele today

after 3 days of searching, i found my allen wrenches and i adjusted the action a bit... wow... the guitar plays so much better!!!

i've gotten used to the 11s pretty quickly and i'm thinking of putting some on my strat too!!!

Do you find that the guitar breaks up differently with the 11's on it?

A long time ago I put 12's on a strat and my crunch sounds got pretty different...

i find that it has less to do with the strings and more with the angle you smash it at.

I try to catch it at a glue joint but its hard to see if there is abowling ball type finish

Actually, I was wondering because Mys seems to go for a crunchy rhythm sound and I didn't know how that changed with the heavier strings...

it's a bit smoother sounding and doesn't have the grind that 10's do... i'm going to try it out at rehearsal this weekend at louder volumes... i'll see how it goes then.

there's more metal. it should have more grind. you need to dig into it more though.
