Ever since I played through @Mark Wein's amp, I kept looking for a 1484. Was even planning to build one but I held off. Too many builds that are yet to be completed. So an ad popped up mentioning that Jackson Audio duplicated the sound of the 1484 in a pedal. Oh boy and started to research. All of the videos I found hit it on the head with what I was looking for.
So as my research continued, I went to Reverb.com and found someone who just posted in 30 minutes prior to me coming on. Talk about luck, bought it for $50 less like new with free shipping. Got it on Saturday and it is what I was looking for. Have not tested yet through my gig rig but I got the sound I was looking for through my Mini Spark.
