Funny enough - I think over the years I've had about a dozen or so teles of various configurations but I've never had a thinline.

UNACCEPTABLE!
Yeah its a parts monster. Allparts neck and Warmoth body, cheap Artec pickups that sound great especially the bridge...its an Alnico 5/2 thing. Thinlines are different that's for sure. Some people describe it as "Air around the notes", some say "Extra harmonics", etc. I'll just say there is more "high end stuff going on" with a thinline. Check one out! They cover more ground than you might think.
