Helping my buddy Martin fix his pedalboard.

I've never seen one of these Decibel 11 Pedal Palette loopers before. After today I hope I never see one again. As you can see, the problem was solved by 86'ing the looper. Strange noises, intermittent loop function and signal loss through the unit. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

And this is Martin's electric bass board. Besides playing in a fusion band with Tyler he also plays in an experimental electronic duo with another friend.

I've been skeptical of the Decibel 11 blowout. Sucks that it didn't work out for him.
The other guy in the elctronica duo suggested it and I think bought it for himself during the blowout. WHen Martin was looking for loopers I guess he sold it to him. The $120 difference between the blowout price on this and a brand new ES-5 is not worth the savings.

I'm still stupid and considering the Morningstar stuff, but it looks much higher quality.

Maybe it's just me, but apart from practicing at home, I don't really see a need for a looper pedal.
Anyways, need something dependable? Boss or TC. It's that simple.

Nah...like my Boss ES-8.

Some folks use the kind of looper you're talking about for solo gigs or occasionally funky/jazz bands but yeah...

Even then, I just hit YouTube and pull done kind of backing track. That’s gonna be better than anything I can loop on the fly.
