Looked like a pretty groovy scene. Despite being an older man, Lee had the open-mindedness, confidence, and bonhomie to have a try at the groovy scene the young folk were making.

It was nice that he was trying, but that has an Up With People, Evangelical Christian trying to attract "the kids" vibe that gives me bad flashbacks.

Many years ago a country band I used to play with were exposed to a set by an Up With People band/choir after our set at the Illinois State Fair.
They were playing in the tent next to the stage we played and we wandered over and were captivated by how odd and creepy and weird it was.

Flash back to childhood. I had those flowers on my bathtub, They were supposed to provide friction. They didn't help.

I remember a van that had similar flowers. A bunch of teenagers with a big dog would cruise around in it.
They would solve mysteries involving ghosts, ghouls, and monsters. Each one would end up being a hoax.
