Thanks guys.
It was a pretty awesome weekend. Started on Thursday when I picked up the VHT. Then Mrs. P surprised me by inviting my parents and grandmother to the house Thursday evening. We had pizza. Friday we got up and walked the dogs in the rain, then we left for Pittsburgh. Got into town and then met up with tele, Mrs. tele, and tele's brother, and Chihlidog. Had dinner at a German place whose name I can't spell.
Then to the VH concert. Kool & the Gang was pretty awesome, and IMO Van Halen kicked ass, though Dave was a bit rough here and there. After the concert, we went to Blackwater Falls. Got to our cabin at about 2:45 am. Woke up at 6 when the other folks started waking up. Stayed up till 8:30 or so and then went back to bed until about noon.
Then Mrs. P and I went hiking. After that, we went to the Volunteer's Appreciation Party that our running club hosts every year at the brew pub. Drank lots of beer and ended up sitting in with the band (who was just a drummer and two acoustic guitarists) on bass. Played a set with them, then went back to the cabin and crashed.
Got up this morning and drove home. Got home and mowed the lawn. Now we're caught up to date. I'm getting ready to start uploading pics from the weekend and hopefully I've got audio from the whole concert, as well as a few videos. I know I have audio of the last 3 or 4 songs, but the file for the first hour and a half doesn't seem to want to play on the recorder. I'm hoping it'll work on the computer.

Blackwater Falls is pretty fun. My grandparents used to go there all the time when I was young. We took our kids there a few summers ago before we left VA. Very scenic place.
