FS: 2000 Heritage Millennium SAE

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I need to sell a couple of guitars. This is my 2000 Millennium SAE. The SAE stands for Stereo Acoustic Electric. This has a piezo pickup installed with a stereo jack. If you use it with a mono chord, it's just a regular electric guitar. If you use a stereo chord running to two amps, you can switch between the sounds using a dedicated volume control. Really nice semi hollow guitar that plays and sounds great. I replaced the Schaller pickups with a set of Mojotone 59 Clones that I put Throbak A4 magnets in. I still have the Schallers and you can have them with the guitar if you like. The piezo pickup works as it should. This comes with a polyfoam case that Heritage was shipping these in at the time. There are a few nitro burns here and there. Nothing serious. I had the one on the neck professionally touched up by Chicago Fretworks. I'd really like to avoid shipping since that gets expensive. But I will ship if necessary at buyer's expense. I will meet within 100 miles of the Chicago area. $1500 net. The pictures really don't do this guitar justice. I confess that I am not a great photographer.

What is a “nitro burn”?

A spot in the nitrocellulose finish where the rubber from a stand has slightly damaged the finish. It's pretty common with nitro finished guitars.

One more thing. The finish is really transparent red over flame maple. It looks opaque in the pictures, but it's not. I just have bad lighting in my house.
