Pretty big tech for its day.
I never owned a real pedal board until I retired. But I never gigged electric guitar beyond at a party or somebodies garage. Back in the 70s up until around 2000 all I had was a Cry Baby, an old script Ph 90, and a Zoom 505 for anything else, all just on the floor and running off 9v batteries. At some point I got a Dano OD and Delay, a One Spot daisy chain, and a piece of plywood.
When I retired about 10 years ago I built my studio and really started collecting pedals and bought an actual pedalboard and a Voodoo Labs power supply. To this day I doubt Ive played over a couple of doz paying gigs on electric guitar. The vast majority of my paying gigs have been on acoustic or bass, mostly the big doghouse.
