Question: Ever have this particularly weird feeling?

I don't know how to describe it without sounding like a loon, but every once in a while I find myself wondering if reality is my own mental projection, or if I am in someone else's dream, or if I am the only real person and I've created the world around me. I know it's not the case but has anyone else ever had that feeling? I have it this morning and it's really weird, and I can't shake it. Like I'm in a dream.

And no, I am not high. :P

yes,

it's called 'derealization' and it's quite a common thing. I used to have it all the time when I was struggling with anxiety and panic attacks

Sometimes I wonder if I've gone completely insane and I'm locked up in a mental hospital as I hallucinate this world.

"Oh look, he's pretending that he's driving a car again!"
"Yeah, he does that every day at this time. He thinks he's going home to be with his family and his cats."
"Oh my god. Then he doesn't know what happened to..."
"No, he must never know."
