Denis Villeneuve's Dune

I try to avoid trailers like the plague, but I’m looking forward to this one.

Loved the first book when I was a preteen, but I’ve somehow managed to avoid virtually all of the adaptations, other than to have watched that documentary about Jodorowsky’s failed attempt at making it.

From what has been reported this movie is only the first half of the book. Hopefully, it will do well enough to get the green light for the second half.

I loved the Sci-fi channel miniseries. It makes a lot more sense than the Lynch movie, probably because it’s over four and a half hours long. So I’m excited for this one because the studio decided to make it a series. And of course I want to see the Shai-Hulud on a huge Imax screen. The trailer got me jazzed up enough that I finally started reading the book. It’s an audiobook with actors handling the dialogue so that’s getting me through the first half of the book which is supposedly where most people get bored and quit.
I'm currently listening to it on Audible and really enjoying it.
I'm excited for the new Dune. It has Dave Bautista. What's not to like? :)
