Death By Audio Total Sonic Annihilation 2

Chad

Slender Hobbit
This is pretty bad ass. You loop your pedalboard through it and it goes nuts.

this song is awesome

The entire album is epic. Here are some of my favorites:

So much better than the scream-singers now days that you can't understand a word they say.

and of course:

For those who don't know, S.O.D. is made up of many of the guys from Anthrax with the vocalist from Psycho.

Scott and Charlie, sure.
IIRC, Danny was out of Anthrax after the first album and right into Nuclear Assault by the time SOD released Speak English or Die.
Billy founded MOD. Not familiar with Psycho. Who dat?

If you are talking about Dan Spitz, he was in Anthrax for the first 7 albums. He left after Sound of White Noise.

Damn, I must have lost it in one of my moves, but I had the SOD tab book for that album.

Another in the long list of pedals that would probably fun to play with for a bit, but couldn't see myself using it effectively long term .

Seems like a good time to leave.

So I wrote that, and went "hey, what ever happened to Dan Spitz?", and it turns out he became a world renowned watchmaker. No, really.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Spitz

"In 1995, Spitz left Anthrax to pursue a career in luxury Swiss watchmaking, attending the Swiss watchmaking school WOSTEP on a full scholarship. He was certified a Mechanical Complications Specialist, earning Swiss degrees in micro-mechanical engineering, and opened his own luxury watch service.[10] In 2012 Spitz was voted the number 1 interview of the year for the watchmaking magazine Hodinkee.[11] In 2016, the production company Great Big Story produced a documentary on Spitz's work as a watchmaker.[12]"

I guess it really was a good time to leave.

Oliver has a real gift for finding musicality in noise - I'm a longtime APTBS fan and have a DBA pedal that has some amazing sounds in it. Most relevant is that the sounds really aren't available elsewhere as readily or easily.

Unfortunately, booteek pedlols carry booteek prices, and I really wonder if stuff like this makes sense in the day and age of outstanding software that you can manipulate on a touch screen.

Thanks for posting.
