Oh my!!!
If you've ever heard the Dua Lipa song "Love Again", there's a familiar reprise buried in the mix, that really comes forward with the strings near the end...
When the string part was played by full orchestra in the Live From Royal Albert Hall recording it hit me where I knew the melody from...
Then while I was driving in the car, the 1997 song where the Dua Lipa lifted the sample popped up...
The band White Town is a British-Indian singer musician and producer Jyoti Prakash Mishra (Dua Lipa is British-Albanian).
But both of those were inspired by the melody in the 1932 Jazz tune "My Woman"....
... and I would speculate that it's the original Jazz ear worm that inspired John Williams.
